Prior to registration, the Texas Institution of Equine
Dentistry requires a completed Program Application
Form along with a copy of your H.S diploma or last
college transcripts. Payment in full or a registration enrollment
deposit is required to hold a place in an upcoming
scheduled class. All courses must be paid in full at
least two weeks prior to the first day of class.
Payment Options
A. Students may pay in full when submitting Program
Application Form; or
B. A deposit can be paid to hold a place in an upcoming
class (deposit amounts listed below and include the
$100.00 registration fee). The balance of the tuition
is due in full two weeks prior to the first day
of class; or
C. An interest-free payment plan is offered for those
individuals wishing to pay by installment. The balance
of tuition after deposit will be divided by the number
of month until the class begins. The student will make
monthly installments and have all fees paid in full
two weeks prior to the start of classes. All
installment plans must be approved by the school
director or office administrator.
Payments can be made with personal check, cashiers
check, money order or cash.
Grants and Loans
Grants:
Texas Institute of Equine Dentistry has been approved by
the Department of Veteran Affairs Vocational
Rehabilitation Program in Texas (chapter 31 only.)
and DARS (Division for Rehabilitation Services -
Vocational Rehabilitation Services) in Texas.
Scholarships:
The Working Ranch Cowboy Foundation Scholarship
Fund (WRCF) offers scholarships to students
affiliated with a working ranch cowboy. Please contact
janeen@wrca.org for
qualification information and an application.
Instruments and Books
Instruments are supplied to students for use in wet lab
for DT 101. Students are given a recommended list
of instruments and supplies to purchase directly
from the manufacturers. The average cost of a “starter
package” is approximately $4,000 to $7,000 depending on
which instruments the student chooses to purchase.
The same two text books will be utilized through all
three courses in the program. Books are issued the
first day of class. No refunds on used books.
