The Texas Institute of Equine Dentistry is one of the few equine dentistry schools in the world. At TIED, our goal is to provide the equine industry with high quality, well-educated professionals that put the welfare of the horse above all. In order to best serve our students, we limit the class size to ensure that every student has one-on-one instruction in the wetlab and are coached by experienced instructors. Every single instructor is a full-time dentist, who not only teaches at the school, but also manages their own practice. In this way, our students are best served by professionals who are not only capable teachers, but also well-versed in what students will encounter in the field. As a result, we only put on 4 sessions per year, since every single instructor is also serving their own clientele of professional performance horse barns as well as working at the school.
