The nearest airport is Dallas-Fort Worth International (DFW), about a 1.5 hour drive away. We are located a short distance away from the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and roughly an hour to the world famous Fort Worth Stockyards. The nearest town with lodging is Mineral Wells, 6 miles to the west of campus, with a small assortment of fast food and restaurants. To the east, 12 miles from school, is the bigger town of Weatherford, TX, which is known as the cutting horse capital of the world. Weatherford has a larger selection of shopping and restaurants as well as being home to Weatherford (Community) College.
