                                                                _ Course Description
                                                                The Advanced Program is an equine dental equilibration program for graduates of DT103, who wish to continue their equine dentistry education while receiving feedback on their skills from the director of TIED.

                                                                Format
                                                                This course is just compromised of practical lab work. Each Advanced/Mastery session consists of work on 5 horses over 3 days and constitutes 50 hours.

                                                                Prerequisites
                                                                Successful completion of DT103


                                                                Hours
                                                                200 hours post-Advanced, approximately 4 advanced sessions


                                                                Grading Procedures
                                                                Final written exam
                                                                Practical exam

                                                                Grades
                                                                Students must pass the final written exam with an 85% or better and pass the practical exam with a 95% or better average on 5 horses.


                                                                Course Graduation Requirements
                                                                As well as passing both exams, students must also turn in 50 charts of work completed post-graduation; students will not successfully complete their Advanced training without turning in their charts.


                                                                Cost
                                                                $100/day or $300 for each advanced/mastery session
