"The instructors abilities and the curriculum they
offered far exceeded my expectations. For the first
time in my life, I was excited to show up at school
every day. Also, the experiences and friendships
I've developed here I will cherish the rest of my
life. I'm truly grateful to Randy and all of his
staff for the opportunities presented to me here."
Hunter Pappas 11/07/2008

learned alot from great instructors and had fun
doing so." Lisa Nelson 11/07/2008
"WOW! What a wealth of knowledge! I have trained
horses for 30 years and felt pretty confident with
my knowledge of horses. I soon learned by attending
this school, how little I really do know. I k now
that I am in the right place and so far, I am amazed
and appreciative of what I have learned. I look
forward to future sessions at TIED. I know that I
will take the knowledge that I have learned here and
educate as many horse owners/handlers/trainers that
I can." Patty Dague 11/07/2008
"This school starts out with more information than
you think you could possibly take in. With the help
of all the instructors and 3rd & 4th timers, you can
learn more than you ever thought possible making
test day better than you thought it would be.
Everything is setup for you to learn if you take
advantage of it. Thank you!!!" Kenneth Martinez

"A true learning experience. Experienced teachers,
assistants & staff. Quality facility, state of the
art technical equipment. Friendly learning
environment. Get out of it what you put in. Rewards
can be great. Not for everybody/need to dedicate
yourself. Had a great time and will be back to
continue." Rusty Hamilton 11/07/2008
"Equine Dentistry has changed me for the better. I
now enjoy what I do, not only for the horses but for
myself." Nick Coats 11/06/2008
"All Instructors were professional, knowledgeable
and to the point. The school is up to date and easy
to be around." Larry Carow 11/07/2008
"This school is the best in the world. Mr Randy is
very good at teaching students what they need to
know and preparing them to go out and work on their
own. It is one of the best choices I've made to come
to this school." JR Williams 11/07/2008
"I have been to 2 class sessions and 1 wetlab.
I am continuing to be impressed with the whole
experience. The school is a rock solid
organization with method and purpose. All the
hallmarks of professionalism are there: proficiency
of instructors, a clear curriculum, caring attitudes
and individual attention to the students. If
you want to learn equine dentistry, this is the
place! Mauri Langenberg 05/19/2008
"I
want to thank Josh for sticking it out with me the
last 2 days. He was happy with my work but
before that, it was rough! Thank you for
teaching me the fundamentals. Overall, everyone was
great both in the office and in the field. Benjamin Renteria 05/09/2008
"I was around 3 of the instructors (Josh, Randy
and Justin), I thought those guys were outstanding
in what they do and I appreciate everything they did
for me. They were great teachers and great to
talk to after school. I look forward to coming
back to school the very next time there is a class.
I just want to thank everybody there for everything
they did for me. Thank you!! Casey Chamberlain

" I have personally attended 4 different
colleges and only graduated from 1. During my 2
weeks here at TIED, I never lost focus or interest
and I enjoyed every part of it! Chad Smith

"First, I would like to thank everyone, Randy, Josh,
Justin, Sherri, Heather for giving me the
opportunity to work with horses for the rest of my
life. It was hard coming to a strange country
for the first time but I was really made to feel
welcome. I saw some pretty cool stuff, got to
ride on a cowboy saddle and do some roping.
Thanks to all the students for helping me speak
slower and sticking with me and my fast talking! Hughie Ryan 05/09/2008
"This has been an
exciting 2 weeks! This school was very
educational, motivating and fun all at the same
time. I think it was a perfect mixture of classroom
lectures, demonstrations and wet labs. I will
definitely be returning. I was a little apprehensive
on which dental school to come to because 10 years
ago I made the wrong choice for farrier school but
after 2 weeks here, I am positive I made the right
choice. Randy was a great instructor, the advanced
students were alot of help and Josh taught in a way
that was really easy to understand. I got to work
alot w/Justin everyday in the lab and he was a great
teacher. He would talk you through every step of the
way. The overall atmosphere was great and my only
complaint is that it's over and I can't wait to get
back. Thank you Randy, Heather and all the
instructors! Greg Drew 02/08/2008
"I really enjoyed
learning about the art of equine dentistry.
Especially all the different aspects of it, from
problems eating to all the different problems and
solutions in riding. I am looking forward to coming
back for the next 2 weeks. The staff was great, very
knowledgeable instructors who are always willing to
help. Thanks! Jesse Christensen 02/08/2008
"The past 2 weeks
have been very exciting for me. I've learned alot,
not only about dentistry but about all aspects of
the horse. It's been great! I have had alot of
different jobs but now I've found a career. Danny
Thompson 02/08/2008
"This is the best
decision I have made. The horses that I will hep
will make it all worth while. It will make a good
horse a great horse and a great horse an awesome
horse. J.T. Parsons 02/08/2008
"From day 1,
helping horses is number 1. Randy and staff are
hands on in the teaching process. You learn more
than you can imagine in a small amount of time if
you are willing to jump in and give it your all. I
have been working with horses for 20 years and this
was one of my greatest experiences! Dustin Lucas
02/08/2008
"Throughout the
past 2 weeks, I have learned so much and have
thoroughly enjoyed myself. Enrolling in the Texas
Institute of Equine Dentistry has been one of my
best decisions I have ever made. Not only did
I learn about proper equine dentistry, I also
learned alot about myself and who I am as a person.
The people here are great, Randy, Josh, Sherri,
Heather, Justin, Doc and all the students have made
this experience all the greater. If I had to
change one thing, it would be me staying on site
instead of at a hotel/friends home. I can not
honestly wait to continue my education and return
here to see everyone. Katrina Risk

"TIED is a great
school! The facilities are wonderful, the
instructors are great and have an extreme
understanding of equine dentistry. At this
institution, you learn the importance of proper
techniques and good horsemanship. I would recommend
this institute to any one who is serious in learning
equine dentistry. Arcel Alsup 11/09/2007
"I just finished my
first 2 weeks at TIED. I think this school is
worth the time and money that it takes. The
instructors are very knowledgeable and willing to
help you with anything you may need. They are
also very fun to be around and make the experience
pleasant. I also got along with the other
students very well and I feel that I have made many
new friends. I learned a lot and I look
forward to coming back next session. The
people here are passionate about equine dentistry
and the health of horses so this is not the place to
come if you are looking for a quick way to make
money. I have confidence that when I am done
with the full program at TIED, I will be a very
competent equine dentist. Lynsey Miller
11/09/2007
"I arrived knowing
zero and I feel I am leaving w/buckets of knowledge.
Randy and Josh are people w/a heart and w/out
them, this experience would be lacking. I look
forward to the next session with the same people!
Brandy Guthrie 11/09/2007
"TIED is an
incredible school! Not only do they teach you
how to float teeth, they also teach you better
horsemanship skills. The instructors are the
best. If they are hard on you it's only to
make you better. Thanks for everything! Ashley Riner 08/10/07
"Equine Dentistry
is more than just knocking or smoothing the buccal &
lingual edges. I never realized the importance
of a balanced mouth until attending this school.
It all relates back to Form to Function terminology
in horses. Many behavior problems can be
corrected in horses that I was not aware of. I
have been raised around and involved with horses my
entire life and never knew the importance of proper
dental techniques in horses. It has definitely
changed my outlook on things. I am anxious to
try to educate the public and help the horse
industry better understand the horses' mouth. Kelly Slover 08/10/2007
"The class is very
informative. The instructors are great and
really work with you to make sure you understand and
feel comfortable going out into the field. The
school has been great and I hope to continue my
education and learn how to help many more horses. Robin Belardo 08/10/2007
"Randy, I think you
are a great instructor. Your care for the
students and horses is obvious and inspiring.
You have a great ability to see and develop talent
in your students. Autumn LaFollette

"TIED presents the
perfect opportunity for students to come into a
relaxed environment and learn equine dentistry.
I would like to thank Randy, Josh, Justin & Daniel
for all their help and advice. These guys have
alot of patience and understanding when it comes to
teaching equine dentistry. I would especially
like to thank Josh & Justin for having the patience
in helping in the wetlab. These guys are great
instructors and equine dentists. Doyle Gibson

"I only ever dreamed of loving my job as much as
I love equine dentistry! We are so well
equipped to help horses and educate their owners as
we progress through the courses. It's also
refreshing to continue to strive to be better, learn
more and want to keep coming back to school!
I've had great experiences here and made wonderful
friends. A door was opened for me to create a
fantastic business and lifestyle. The personal
attention from the instructors here has been
invaluable. (I also really enjoyed 74degrees & sunny
in February). Sasha Kone 02/09/2007
"The goals
of this school are very simple. On the first
day of class, Randy always says "If you are here to
learn how to help horses and educate people, have a
seat and we'll get started......If you are here to
learn how to make money, you can see the secretary
for a refund and go somewhere else".
Enough said!. Joshua Wallace 01/29/2007
"I want to start by saying that Randy Riedinger and
the staff at T.I.E.D. are very friendly and will
help you with anything you need. The learning
environment with the classrooms and the wetlab are
an excellent way to learn the proper equine
dentistry techniques. I never knew how much
there was to learn about this industry. Randy
strives to make all or as many of his students the
best equine dentist they can be. In my
opinion...Randy is one of the most world renowned
Master Equine Dentists out there. When I was
going through my first 2 weeks program, Randy was
always advising me to what I could work on to get
myself to progress and always to let me know when I
was doing a good job. I am happy to say that I
will graduate and finish out my Advanced and Master
levels of Equine Dentistry". Duane Boone
